Leaving Primary Talk

As most of you no I am almost twelve which means I'll be going up to Y.W. This is my last week in primary as next week is conference. Today I would like to talk about me and what I have done in primary. I was born in bristol avon on the 8th Sept. 1980. When I was 3 yrs old I started primary. I was in primary in bristol 2nd ward, my Sunbeam teacher was Sister Gibbs, Clare Heywood, and david Hurdon were in my class. Then I moved into Bournemouth Ward my Star teacher was Sandra Vernon, Solviej Cooper was my friend. In the 2nd year of Stars my teacher was kim greenfield the people in my class were Matthew Rogers, Stewart Fox and Alex pearson. Kim was also my teacher for C.T.Rs When I was little in primary they used to give out certificates . I got 2, 1 was for good singing and the other was for being good in class. In Nov. 1985 I got a rossette for coming first in a play dough compettion It was of a baby holding a rattle laying on a mat. On Sept. 7th I entered another play dough model into the summer fair. It was a dinner I had made, peas, eggs, chips, sausages and tomato sauce. I liked it I think it was my best play dough model half way through the year we had a new teacher called Barbara Warner. This year I made a play dough model of a yucca plant. I came 1st. In 1988 I was baptised by my eldest brother Steven J. Cottrell I am now a full member on Bournemouth Ward Mike Heyward is my valiant teachers. Vivian is now my teacher in Merrie Miss in the swimming gala I came third in Backstoke and Breastroke Second in Crawl and first in freestyle for the gospel in action award the merrie miss class (Sarah, Solviej, emma nd I) went on a sponsed walk we raised wround £19.24 the gospel in action award is an award you can recieve by learning off by heart all 13 articles of faith gaining a personal, family, church and community goal when you have done those things you can gain a medal like this you get the chance to do this in merrie miss or blazer class. girls get a necklace pendant and boys get a tie pin the design is the scriptures. I have had a wonderful time in primary and am sad to leave, but I am also glad I am going up to young womans. I would like to say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
